This wholesome and healthy sauce is sure to please on many levels. It honestly reminds me of Chick-Fil-A Honey Mustard Sauce, just oh-so-much-healthier!
Sweet Mustard Sauce
Tangy, sweet, and perfect for a quick nutritious salad
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup soaked cashews or pumpkin seeds
- 1/3cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/4 cup agave nectar, date or maple syrup or coconut nectar
- 1/4 cup dates, pitted and soaked for 15-20 minutes
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 2-3 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 large garlic clove
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender.
- Enjoy with salads and wraps.
- Store in a tightly-sealed container for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
Mustard Date Sauce

- 1-2 tsp whole mustard seed
- 1 large garlic clove
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.
- Enjoy with salads, as a veggie skewer dip, or wraps.
- Store in a tightly-sealed container for up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
